How can I clean my suede Prada sneakers?

I’m afraid of using just any suede cleaner–Can someone suggest something?

  1. a little water and maybe a little tide stain remover might get it out but dont use too much water on them or they might stain more.

  2. Do not use water at all! Suede and water do not mix, it will ruin it. Go to like Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, or Saks if you have one around you they may have something to clean suede there. A leather store may have something to, just try the cleaner in a small no conspicuous area and make sure it does not ruin them. Just don’t use water or tide.

  3. Ask at your local high quality shoe repair shop. They can recommend products. You are wise to question the quality and efficacy of some products. It is better to wait to use a high quality product, some leather products on the market do more harm than good. Basic suede brushes, and art-gum erasers can do wonders.
