what type of internet do you need to connect a nokia n810 to the internet through blue-tooth. Do you need need internet like the iphone, sidekick, ohellolio ocean, etc or can u just have the internet that the basic flip phones be haveing?

  1. you can use any phone you have that supports internet tethering. (the iphone doesnt).

  2. You need internet. Period. The higher the speed (transfer rate) the better but you do not need to sweat about it being too low.

    The phone acts as a modem, it is the N810 that does the handling of the data and the rendering in the browser.

    So, any Nokia phone will do, a 3G one would be preferable in order to ensure better speed.
