i have not had a chance to look at the g1 but between the iphone and the storm the iphone wins hand s down biply because of the sixe and weight i picked up the storm and almost fell over it also gets hot very fast i felt like it as a wmd also the apps are endless on the iphone but if you need a verizon based phone do yourself a favor go with the dare i love mine and it is much ore streamlined then all the others
Nothing comes even close to iPhone. Its simple indomitable and its the best not because of features it the best because of its stupendous performance.
Storm might have more features but when it comes to performance iPhone’s immaculate navigation and ultra smooth interface beat Storm black and blue.
Storm’s touch screen is jagged, choppy, slow and pokey. It freezes so frequently as if there is a major glitch in the software. Operating system has noticeable lag especially when you are listening music and try to surf the internet.
Clickable screen eats RAM and slow down the processor’s speed and thats one of the reason why Storm is pathetically slow and pokey.
Storm doesn’t have Wi-Fi so you wont get luxury of remotely accessing your computer and speakers or webcams at home.
VoIP has become need of the day and Storm overlooked it. Storm is capable of displaying only 56,000 colors while iPhone displays over 200,000 colors and makes video and photos so vibrant.
Now, G1. G1 is a phone which has potential and in the future it might a big name in smartphone industry but currently its bud that has yet to blossom.
One drawback of G1 is it design and look. I hate to say it but its ugly and the physical keypad is cheesy. The interface looks cheesy. The touch screen is not multi gesture so after advent of iPhone, it seems useless to have a simple touch screen. Either have a multi gesture or dont have a touch screen.
iPhone is the best and most advanced phone on the planet. It has 10,000 wonderful apps that can do virtually anything. I have 84 apps on my iPhone I can’t even live without those features. No wonder it has been voted for the most favorite phone among the business users.
iPhone is the best hands down but I like G1 too it does what it says it never claimed to beat iPhone. It has a different idea behind it more like iTunes had an idea and today it has become a rage so same way Android market want to develop and I have trust in Google. Google has made some amazing app for iPhone also.
But please dont even mention Storm. It was hyped for no reason. I am victim of this stupid piece of crap that freezes all the time. You cant even read mails while you are streaming music it will start to lag and eventually you feel like throwing it out of window. You cant do any serious work on it.
I wont even call it a phone it was a mistake that Blackberry did. And it has nerve to call it an iPhone killer ? shame on you Blackberry.
Now they are accepting that they have some software glitches but I returned it and got iPhone 3G and now I am happy.
No competition iPhone is the best.
From no.1 to no.10-iPhone 3G

i said each phone suit on each person attitude to it or their way on their living daily routine. Like blackberry is famous in USA but other country not so popular. blackberry suit for office use and working purpose. iphone for enjoying purpose and high profile status(rich persons). T-Mobile_G1 ahhh…….. kind of weird has this phone in my pocket(low standard) but is actually good for chatting with ur friend.
